Cooper B-Line
Location: Highbridge - Somerset - UK Cooper B-Line (Willsher and Quick) manufacture high quality electrical and electronic sheet metal enclosures. Fleming Software and Cooper B-Line (Willsher and Quick) have a long standing and close relationship. Prior to the creation of Fleming Software Limited in 1988, Raymond Fleming had installed firstly a CAM and then a 3D CAD system for them, both highly customised. The first project for Fleming Software when it was formed in 1988 was the development of a custom built Estimating and Production Control system for Willsher and Quick as they were then called. Over the years the CAM system has evolved into Automatic Machining for Windows, and it is now used by one programmer to service an Amada Vipros 255, an Amada Laser, and two Amada King machine tools. In 1999/2000 the Estimating and Production Control system was replaced with a BaaN ERP system. Fleming Software was asked to identify and shortlist possible suppliers, and then to participate as a key player in the final system selection and implementation. In 2006 they migrated to SAP as their ERP system and Fleming Software was once again extensively involved in the project. Fleming Software continues to work on a regular basis, developing software and providing consultancy and maintenance services to Cooper B-Line (Willsher and Quick).
