ACM Estimating System for cladding panels allows rapid and consistent pricing of ACM cladding projects. It follows clear sequential stages from entering project details such as the building name and location, contractors, architects and a panel list. The system then uses a highly customisable and flexible calculation system to arrive at an initial estimate of the project cost, including raw material, labour and fixture and fitting costs. Once the initial figure has been calculated it can be easily accessed and manipulated by the user to arrive at a final quote. These assumptions can then be made visible to engineering and production staff as appropriate, without giving access to any sensitive information. Project history can also be recorded, including call logging by contact person (contractor or architect) or building, and conversion to order or completed order. The same quote can be issued to multiple contractors if required, and different revisions of the estimate can also be managed.
The system is fully integrated with the Auto-Panel Wizard and with the ACM Material Requirement Planning systems. When entering the panel list you can call up standard templates from the Auto-Panel Wizard for each panel type / fixing system and just enter the main dimensions of the visible panel surface—the system will calculate the flat pattern size and visible surface area for you. When you have your panel list you can use the ACM Material Requirement Planning system to rapidly estimate the best raw material to purchase for the project, save these assumptions for later production use, and use the information in the project cost estimation process.
Even if there are post-order changes to the project, the ACM Estimating System for Cladding Panels allows you to fully manage quotes and orders throughout a project. This software is unique as it gives the user total flexibility as well as highly consistent and rapid estimates. |
