Text Box: Fleming Software has created a faster, smarter piece of highly intelligent software that will maximise your company’s productivity. Automatic Machining is a sheet metal CAM system, designed to take 2D flat pattern part geometry in DXF format as its input, and generate NC programs of nested sheets, ready to run on a turret (or manual tool change) punch press, laser, plasma, combo or router machine tool. The system supports both single and dissimilar part nesting, and includes production scheduling, optimised part layout, optimised tool changing and rapid travel, and post-processing to the format required by the user's machine tool controller. The philosophy of the system is to provide maximum automation, but with interactive override at the user's discretion at all stages. This leads to massive reductions in lead times and part programming effort, and increases in throughput, without loss of quality.
